ONE LINER

Finally, after four difficult stages, Wrestler, Army man, Boxer, Paralympic Swimmer Chandu became a champion.

STORY

Chandu Champion is a film based on a true incident. It is based on the life of Muralikant Rajaram Petkar. His personal wish to the Indian government was to give him the Arjuna Award. But the Indian government gives him an award which he had never imagined. He is honored with the Padma Shri Award in 2018 by the President of India. It is about how he fulfilled his dream of winning a gold medal for his country. And how many difficulties and struggles he had to face in fulfilling it.

The story of the film revolves around a small family living in Sangli, Maharashtra, whose financial condition is below the normal level. Rajaram Petkar lives with his elder son Murlikant Rajaram Petkar (played by Kartik Aaryan) Aka (Chandu) and younger son Jagannath Petkar (played by Anirudh Dave).

And Chandu decides to move forward with his stubbornness and, from there the story begins, he tries everything since childhood. To move forward, there is pressure from his father at home too and he says “Earn money and run the house” He is weak in studies since childhood. From here the journey begins.

SPECIFIC

Chandu goes through four stages to reach his goal. First, he learns wrestling from the village wrestler. From there, the story takes another turn. Chandu reaches EMI Secunderabad Army Training Center, under training, he reaches military force practice, there his mental strength and physical strength increases, he is accompanied by a military senior officer (Yashpal Sharma) and from there, the story takes another turn, where Chandu enters the boxing field from the military force. There, a new character enters, who is boxing trainer Tiger, whose role is played by (Vijay Raaz).

With hard work, perseverance, and under the leadership of Vijay Raaz (Tiger), Chandu is able to reach the league, quarter-finals and finals, but due to loss of concentration, he loses the World Boxing Championship. And from there, he returns to the military force. And then suddenly there is an air attack by enemy countries in the camp in which Chandu's friend Sadal, played by (Bhuvan Arora), dies in that military war.

And military trainer Tiger and Chandu get badly injured. Chandu gets hit by 9 bullets and remains in coma for two years. That is where one part of the story ends and for the rest of the story you can definitely watch this film in the cinema. That would not be appropriate here.

The film is a bit slow in the first half but in the second half, the film moves in such a way that you will laugh, get emotional and connect with the film. This film will definitely be a success at the box office.

ASPECTS

The film is directed by Kabir Khan and after a long time you will see a good directed movie by Kabir Khan or should I say that this will prove to be his best film after Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the story is really well written, the direction is amazing. The film has been shot in locations in India from few places of Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir to London, Wai.

The film has been written by Sumit Arora, Sudipton Sarkar, Rohit Shukra and Kabir Khan. The film's dialogues and punch lines are weak at some places but they are still okay. The strongest part of the film is its screenplay which is so good that this film will not fail at any cost.

The presenter and producer of the film is Sajid Nadiadwala who rarely makes mistakes. What I mean to say is that his thinking and his work make him different from other producers. I personally like the nature of Sajid Nadiadwala ji because he stays away from media and parties and focuses more on his work. And it is because of this ability that most of his films do good business at the box office.

There are two to three songs in the film, which are motivational songs. There is no romantic angle shown with Chandu in the film because this is a film based on the life of a particular person.

ACTING

Acting in the film…Kartik Aryan (Chandu) in the lead role Kartik Aryan is known as a great actor for his acting. And this is really true, he has portrayed the character of Chandu in such a way that he has played the life of Murlikant Petkar in such a way that he has completely got into his character. Among the rest of the actors, Bhuvan Arora has also done a good job by giving humour to the character. Anirudh Dave has played the role of Chandu - Kartik Aryan's elder brother. Whatever role he has, he has done it well. Rajpal Yadav (Topaz) is playing the role of a compounder in the hospital, his work is also very good. Shreyas Talpade and Brijendra Kala have a cameo and the police station segment is awesome…Now I am going to talk about Vijay Raaz (Tiger). In this film, Vijay Raaz's role is as important as Kartik's. About 70% of his screen frame in the film is with Kartik Aryan, which is very important, and we all know that Vijay Raaz ji is really a great actor. And it is also a pleasure that such actors get more screen time.

VERDICT

This film has been released in theatres today and everyone will like this film very much. The story of the film is based on the real life of a person, the film has been acted by excellent actors. The script play, direction, story of the film, everything is good in every field.
