Story & Screenplay

Vash Vivash Level 2 follows Rajnath (Hiten Kumar), who hypnotises a group of schoolgirls to locate Pratap (Hiten Kumar) and learn the final lesson of hypnosis. The story is a sequel to the Gujarati film Vash, in which Atharva (Hitu Kanodia) had previously saved his daughter Aarya (Janki Bodiwala) from Pratap’s hypnosis.

Krishnadev Yagnik’s story and screenplay are engaging, especially in the first half, which is genuinely terrifying. The scenes of hypnotised girls obeying horrific commands, from committing murders to contemplating suicide, create a spine-chilling atmosphere. The post-interval portion, however, is less gripping, with a verbose narrative that lacks the terror of the first half. The climax feels hurried, diminishing the overall impact. Dialogues are fair but not particularly memorable.

Direction & Technical Aspects

Notably, there are no songs, which keeps the tension uninterrupted.

Final Verdict

Vash Vivash Level 2 is a chilling thriller with strong first-half scares, thanks to compelling direction, terrifying sequences, and powerful performances by Hiten Kumar and Hitu Kanodia. However, the second half is less engaging, and the hurried climax weakens the overall impact. Limited awareness about its Hindi release may also affect its box-office performance, whereas the original Gujarati version is likely to fare better.
