The full list of nominees for the upcoming 73rd annual Primetime Emmy Awards was announced this morning, with Netflix’s The Crown and Disney+’s The Mandalorian both receiving a total of 24 nominations including Outstanding Drama Series. The major categories were announced by Emmy-winning father-daughter duo Ron Cephas Jones ( This Is Us ) and Jasmine Cephas Jones ( Blindspotting ).

Marvel Studios’ first foray into television further solidifies its success, with WandaVision dominating the limited series categories by earning a total of 23 nominations including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, Outstanding Lead Actor for Paul Bettany, Outstanding Lead Actress for Elizabeth Olsen, Outstanding Supporting Actress for Kathryn Hahn, and Outstanding Directing for Matt Shakman as well as three nominations in the Outstanding Writing category.

Set to be hosted by Cedric the Entertainer, the 2021 Emmy Awards will be an in-person ceremony that will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 19 on CBS. Following its virtual ceremony last year, this year’s annual Emmys will feature a limited audience consisting of nominees and their guests.
